Distance: 1hr 50 min
Depth: 8mt to 30mt
Description: The dive is located on the north reef of Marandhoo faru.
Suitable for all levels of experience.
The dive starts in shallow water, if there is strong current it is necessary to
rapidly reach the reef at 10 mt in order to arrive on the side of the wall
where it’s easy to follow the nice reef. The dive begins in an area that
creates a natural creek, from where we can see the first overhang that
normally hosts a lot of snappers in the inside. By following the reef we can
see many other overhangs full of blue soft corals. There are soft corals
till the entrance of a big cave where normally, on the bottom, big sting rays and a big grouper can be seen.
During the dive if you look in the blue you can see eagle rays - tunas - and
some sharks. The end of our dive is on the top of the reef where you can
spot a very rare school of Napoleon fishes of all sizes.
Torch light is highly recommended to explore the several overhangs and
